I have really started to stop and look (usually it’s a person with a spotted scope, binoculars or long lens who points out what I should’ve seen!). I’m always looking for that “pee-bird” when I disappear into the bushes & stop, still and silent, for a minute. Whether or not I see it Doug will be with me.

Doug understood what life was all about and lived his to the full.

Doug nurtured my love of nature from an early age and it has been been a source of great joy for my whole life. He was also a wonderful companion in adventures through our childhood; thank you Doug.
